Dear fellow scientists:
It is my great pleasure to host INTERSPEECH 2010 at Makuhari Messe, located in Chiba, Japan. This is the first INTERSPEECH event in Japan (the third if you count ICSLP 1990 in Kobe and ICSLP 1994 in Yokohama). The sea-side venue provides visitors with easy access to Narita International Airport and downtown Tokyo. Satellite symposia and workshops will take place immediately before and after the main conference.
INTERSPEECH 2010 sheds light on “Spoken Language Processing for All Ages, Health Conditions, Native Languages and Environments”. All aspects of speech science and technology will be covered, and spoken language researchers from various backgrounds will exchange ideas. The organizing team is committed to enriching the conference program by organizing tutorials and special sessions spanning a broad spectrum of spoken language.
I look forward to welcoming you to INTERSPEECH 2010 in Japan.
Best regards,
Keikichi Hirose
