We urge you to join ISCA or renew at your earliest opportunity. It takes between 3 to 10 days for changes in membership status to be reflected in the ISCA membership database.

New ISCA members will receive their username and password shortly after the conference, instead of this summer immediately following their registration.

As a less-advantageous alternative, you may join ISCA for 1 or 2 years and register for INTERSPEECH simultaneously by paying the membership dues and conference registration fees together in JPY (Japanese Yen). This option is more expensive than joining ISCA directly at their website. Furthermore, INTERSPEECH cannot extend the first-time membership discount that qualifying individuals would receive by joining directly at the ISCA website.

• Early registration should be completed before 28 July 2010. Late registration closes on 25 August 2010. On-site registration at the conference venue starts in the afternoon of 26 September 2010. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference before 12 July 2010.
• Regular registration includes: 1 USB memory device containing the Conference Proceedings, 1 Conference Program & Abstract Book, 1 ticket to the Welcome Reception, and 1 conference bag.
• Student registration includes: 1 USB memory device containing the Conference Proceedings, 1 Conference Program & Abstract Book, 1 ticket to the Welcome Reception, 1 ticket to the Student Reception, and 1 conference bag. Proof of full-time student status is required when registering as a student.
• Tutorials are not included in Regular or Student registration fees. Tutorials may be purchased for an additional fee at the time of conference registration. Register early, as tutorial places will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• With at least one paid tutorial registration, a limited number of (around 37) students may register for one additional tutorial free of charge. This special opportunity is provided on a first-come first-served basis, and is made possible by the financial contribution of IBM Research.
• Additional Welcome Reception tickets for accompanying persons are available at JPY 3,000 each.
• Conference banquet tickets are not included in the Regular or Student registration fees, or tutorial fees. Banquet tickets can be purchased for JPY 7,000 at the time of conference registration. Banquet tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seating is limited, and reservations are essential.
